The targets of the TYPKI consortium are:
- To prevent nutrient emissions to environment and simultaneously produce new circular economical products, hence answering the challenge of ZLD, first for mining industry by 2028 and later for every industrial sectors inside EU.
- To produce technological solutions for fulfilling tightening regulations regarding wastewater nutrient emissions
- To mitigate climate change by generating the circular economy solutions for industry
- To increase European material self-sufficiency by developing nutrient-based recycled products

Solutions to be brought to the market
Toward the targets TYPKI will be navigated via goals leading into improved wastewater purification and nutrients recovery business by
- Developing sustainable and economically feasible separation tools and concepts for
- Wastewater purification and water reuse with new ideas of side stream handling including stabilizing harmful components
- Nutrient recovery targeting to new raw materials and products
- Improved process efficiency via nutrient removal from industrial streams
- Developing new competitive products, such as industrial chemicals, construction materials, and fertilizer ingredients having
- Desired concentration and chemical composition
- Low contaminant concentration
- Desired solubility in target circumstances
